Exclusive Fellow Sessions
2pm-3pm, 25th May 2023, 9am - 10am 26th May & 9am - 10am 27th May
This three part workshop will address the risk associated with nuclear weapons and explore sustainable security strategies. Two of the sessions will be in a writing workshop format, while one will be more discussion based with group work. The sessions will also explore the Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons (TPNW) and its significance for global security.

Prof. Benoît Pelopidas (PhD) founded the program Nuclear Knowledges and holds the chair of excellence in security studies at CERI (Sciences Po). He is also an affiliate of the Center for International Security and Cooperation (CISAC) at Stanford University and has been a frequent visiting fellow at Princeton University’s Program on Science and Global Security.
Xanthe Hall is a prominent disarmament expert and campaigner who serves as co-director for the German affiliate of the International Physicians for the Prevention of Nuclear War (IPPNW). She co-founded the German abolition network “Atomwaffen abschaffen – bei uns anfangen” in 1994 and is a spokesperson for the network. Xanthe is also a co-founder and board member of the German affiliate of ICAN, which won the Nobel Peace Prize in 2017.
